Subject: HSNOI Report
Sandie reports that "for the comfort of our guests, I installed a full length mirror in the bathroom. We repurposed an old wood stereo console for our studio cables and added hooks to hang our cables to keep them tangle free and away from unauthorized fingers. I installed keyed master locks on the two cabinets in which we store equipment."
We taped one show (below) in March. The other guest had to cancel with a broken arm.
689) Sat. March 9, 2019 1:30 PM The Last Whippoorwill Bluegrass Band -20 years ago, 5 guys got together to form a Thursday night club, for something close to their hearts. The idea was to play the old tunes, the classic and traditional bluegrass music of Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, and the Stanley Brothers...tunes that many "bluegrass musicians" seem to have forgotten, the name spun out from the title of Bill Monroe's "The First Whippoorwill". The band has discovered that many folks truly appreciate the old tunes, and for many young listeners, the classic sound is a whole new www.highlonesomebluegrass.com
