ANNUAL REPORT
The Getaway continues to sell out and make a substantial profit.
It’s a huge effort and a successful one. Travelling performers often comment that we’re one of the best run festivals they visit. We continue to be a big driver of new, active members.
The volunteer support continues to be particularly strong. That includes a dedicated, efficient and highly spirited steering committee, an extensive network of core volunteers with operational and workshop responsibilities, and the volunteer support of well over half of the Getaway community in attendance. We are especially grateful to the donors that enable more of our members to participate.
This expansive effort by so many members makes it impossible to single out any one person without naming 99 other deserving friends. Many reading this report have contributed. Please know that we are grateful, as are the many members new and old that consider the Getaway a treasured part of their year.
The committee is dedicated to our core mission: A three-day musical community centered on entertainment, education and self-expression. The members make it the best three-day music party ever.
