4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
Season Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
Sear Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Prepare Sauce: In the same skillet, add chicken broth and softened cream cheese. Whisk until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to thicken the sauce slightly.
Combine and Bake: Place the seared chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Garnish and Serve: Remove the dish from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired. Serve hot.
