Full Recipe:
1 lb (450g) lean ground beef
4 medium Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes, peeled and diced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2–3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon dried oregano
Prepare Ingredients: Peel and dice the potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.
Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
Sauté Aromatics: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté until softened, about 3–4 minutes.
Add Potatoes and Seasonings: Stir in the diced potatoes, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Mix well to coat the potatoes evenly with the seasonings.
Cook Until Tender: Cover the skillet and reduce heat to low. Cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are fork-tender.
