1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
1 egg
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, and basil.
Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, celery, and carrot to the mixture.
