Full Recipe:
For the Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
For the Hot Honey Sauce:
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup organic raw honey
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon chili powder
Pinch of sea salt
Prepare the Chicken:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil and season both sides with salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Place the seasoned chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the Chicken:
Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, spoon the hot honey sauce over each chicken breast.
Continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
Prepare the Hot Honey Sauce:
While the chicken is baking, melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Stir in the honey, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, chili powder, and a pinch of sea salt.
Simmer the sauce for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it becomes smooth and slightly thickened.
Serve:
Once the chicken is cooked through, remove it from the oven.
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
