Full Recipe:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 cup beef broth
Optional: ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through.
Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
Stir in diced potatoes, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the potatoes to slightly brown.
Pour in beef broth, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
Cover the skillet and reduce heat to low. Let it simmer for 20–25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and cover the skillet for 2–3 minutes until the cheese melts.
