Full Recipe:
2 salmon fillets
8 oz (225 g) pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp (30 g) butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Cook the Pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Salmon: While the pasta cooks, season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and flaky. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Garlic Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine Pasta and Salmon: Flake the cooked salmon into bite-sized pieces and add it to the skillet with the cream sauce. Toss in the cooked pasta, ensuring everything is well coated with the sauce.
Serve: Divide the pasta among serving plates, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
