For the Bread:
3 ripe bananas, mashed
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup milk
For the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
Prepare the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping: In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
Mash the Bananas: In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Combine Wet Ingredients: Add the melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Add Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
Assemble the Loaf: Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the batter. Add the remaining batter and top with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Bake: Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve: Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
