2¼ cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is creamy.
