This Cajun Honey Butter Salmon is a quick and flavorful dish that combines the spicy kick of Cajun seasoning with the sweet richness of honey butter. Perfect for a simple weeknight dinner or when you want to impress with minimal effort. The salmon is seared to perfection, and the honey butter glaze adds a delicious finishing touch that balances heat and sweetness beautifully.
Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
For the honey butter glaze:
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Directions:
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides evenly with Cajun seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
While the salmon is cooking, prepare the honey butter glaze. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the honey, Cajun seasoning, and lemon juice until well combined and warm.
Remove the salmon from the skillet and drizzle the honey butter glaze over each fillet. Serve immediately.
