For the Banana Bread:
2 to 3 very ripe bananas, peeled (about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups mashed)
1/3 cup (76g) unsalted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
3/4 cup (150g) granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
1 large egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups (205g) all-purpose flour
For the Cream Cheese Filling:
8 ounces (226g) cream cheese, softened
1 large egg
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4x8-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Prepare the Banana Bread Batter:
In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
Add the baking soda and salt, mixing thoroughly.
Incorporate the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
Gradually add the all-purpose flour, stirring until just combined.
Make the Cream Cheese Filling:
