These Cheeseburger Bombs are a delightful fusion of classic cheeseburger flavors encased in a golden, buttery dough. Each bite offers a juicy beef filling, melted cheddar cheese, and a savory garlic Parmesan crust, making them an irresistible snack or appetizer for any occasion.
Full Recipe:
1 lb ground beef (lean recommended)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or preferred melty cheese)
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or pizza dough)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Pickles
Jalapeños
Sautéed onions
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Cook Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Break it apart as it cooks, season with salt and black pepper, then drain any excess fat. Let it cool slightly.
Prepare Dough: Roll out the biscuit dough and cut each piece into squares. Each square should be large enough to hold a spoonful of the beef mixture and cheese.
Assemble Bombs: Place a spoonful of the cooked beef and a pinch of shredded cheddar cheese in the center of each dough square. Fold the dough around the filling, pinching the edges to seal tightly. Place the sealed dough balls seam-side down on your prepared baking sheet.
Add Coating: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and grated Parmesan cheese. Brush the butter mixture over each dough ball generously.
Bake: Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheeseburger bombs are golden brown and the cheese inside is melted.
Serve: Let the cheeseburger bombs cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them warm with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or ranch dressing.
