Full Recipe:
3 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
2 large eggs
2 slices of bacon
2 slices of cooked ham (optional)
1 slice of cheddar or Swiss cheese
1/2 avocado, sliced
2-3 slices of tomato
1-2 leaves of lettuce
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Butter or cooking spray, for toasting
Cook the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Prepare the Eggs: Fry the eggs sunny side up or over easy. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Toast the Bread: Lightly butter the slices of bread and toast them until golden brown.
Assemble the Sandwich:
Spread mayonnaise (and mustard if using) on one slice of toasted bread.
