Full Recipe:
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a slight kick)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Directions
Prepare the Chicken: Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Cook the Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F / 74°C). Remove from skillet and set aside.
Cook the Green Beans: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the green beans, season lightly with salt and pepper, and sauté 5–7 minutes until bright green and slightly tender but still crisp.
Combine and Finish: Return the chicken to the skillet, drizzle with lemon juice, and toss everything together for 1–2 minutes to combine flavors.
Serve: Slice the chicken if desired, plate with green beans, and garnish with fresh parsley.
