Honey Sriracha Salmon
This Honey Sriracha Salmon recipe delivers a perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors. The salmon fillets are glazed with a sticky, flavorful sauce made from honey and sriracha, creating a deliciously caramelized finish. It’s quick to prepare and makes a fantastic healthy dinner option that’s both satisfying and packed with flavor.
Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil or sesame oil
Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil or sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon fillets skin-side down for 2-3 minutes until the skin is crisp.
Flip the salmon and brush the top generously with the honey sriracha sauce.
Transfer the skillet (if oven-safe) or the salmon to the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 6-8 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven and brush with more sauce if desired. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
