1 can (15 oz) chili starter (e.g., Bush's Chili Magic)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chili powder
2 tsp brown sugar
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp cumin
1–2 tsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
½ medium white onion, diced
For the Toppings:
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
5 strips bacon, cooked crispy and chopped
2 green onions, diced (both green and white parts)
Fritos Scoops (for serving)
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Combine the softened cream cheese, cooked ground hamburger, diced tomatoes, chili starter, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, chili powder, brown sugar, paprika, cumin, hot sauce, and diced white onion in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
Transfer the mixture into a greased oven-safe skillet (a 10" cast iron skillet works well).
Top with 1½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Sprinkle the chopped crispy bacon over the top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 3–4 minutes, until the edges are bubbling.
Garnish with diced green onions.
Serve immediately with Fritos Scoops for dipping.
