For the Dough:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (2¼ teaspoons) instant yeast
¼ cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
½ cup warm milk (about 110°F)
½ cup warm water
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
For the Filling:
1 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage (or bacon)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup chopped green onions
1 tablespoon garlic powder (optional)
For Brushing:
1 tablespoon melted butter
Prepare the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together warm milk, warm water, melted butter, and eggs.
