58。天主教徒得救吗：葛培理深信教宗约翰保罗二世死后是与神同在

葛培理牧师生前与天主教教宗约翰保罗二世关系相当密切，2005年约翰保罗二世去世时，美国的CNN电视台采访葛培理，请他发表对教宗的看法。

葛培理牧师说，他有幸有好几次机会在梵帝岡见到教宗，教宗的过世让他觉得好像是自己的家人离去。他非常爱教宗，曾经有机会与教宗讨论过很多事情，在几年里，相互写过几次信。

葛培理牧师的原话：

GRAHAM: Yes. I had the privilege of seeing the Pope on several occasions at the Vatican. And tonight, I have a very strange feeling of loss. I almost feel as though one of my family members has gone. I loved him very much and had the opportunity of discussing so many things with him. And we wrote each other several times during the years. （ -- 引自 CNN LARRY KING LIVE）

KING: There is no question in your mind that he is with God now?

对于教宗死后是不是与神同在，葛培理牧师说，或许他自己是不是神同在是个问题，但他相信教宗是与神同在，因为教宗相信十字架。

葛培理牧师的原话：

GRAHAM: Oh, no. There may be a question about my own, but I don't think Cardinal Wojtyla, or the Pope -- I think he's with the Lord, because he believed. He believed in the cross. That was his focus throughout his ministry, the cross, no matter if you were talking to him from personal issue or an ethical problem, he felt that there was the answer to all of our problems, the cross and the resurrection. 可见，葛培理牧师不认为天主教的信仰有什么根本性的错误，信从的人还是可以得救的。如果，天主教的信仰没有根本性的错谬的话，宗教改革岂不是小题大作了吗？！新教与天主教的分裂岂不没必要？！葛培理牧师作为颇具影响力的传道人，他的这番话和他对天主教的态度，究竟传递出了什么样的信息？在基督教界里究竟造成了什么样的影响？

经上说，“弟兄们、我们奉主耶稣基督的名吩咐你们、凡有弟兄不按规矩而行、不遵守从我们所受的教训、就当远离他。”（帖后3:6）

《韦斯敏斯德信条》(Westminster Confession of Faith， 1646年） 第25章 论教会，第6点：

教会除主耶稣基督以外无元首。不拘怎样说，罗马教会的教皇并非教会的元首，乃是那敌基督者、那大罪人、和灭亡之子，那在教会中高抬自己，抵挡基督，和一切称为神的。

There is no other head of the Church, but the Lord Jesus Christ; nor can the Pope of Rome, in any sense, be head thereof; but is that Antichrist, that man of sin, and son of perdition, that exalteth himself, in the Church, against Christ and all that is called God.
