164。灵恩派的改革宗人士:古德恩(Wayne Grudem)

古德恩(Wayne Grudem)被称为Charismatic Calvinist (灵恩派的加尔文主义者)。所谓的灵恩派改革宗人士就是他们的神学是混合了改革宗神学和灵恩派的东西。通常他们在救恩论上持守传统改革宗的立场,但在恩赐论上他们所持的却是持续论(Continuationism), 而并不是终止论(Cessationism)。有关持续论和终止论可参阅文后所附的相关文章。

1994年古德恩出版了一本颇受欢迎的《系统神学》,此书有上千页。2011年此书被译成中文出版,书的简介如下图:

古德恩的这本《系统神学》还得到巴刻和派博牧师的推荐,但古德恩在这本书里,花了两大章的篇幅(第52章和53章的“属灵恩赐”)为灵恩派的说预言,方言,神医,新启示而辩护。对古德恩的这种立场和观点,2013年约翰麦克亚瑟牧师在一采访里评论道:

With the arrival of people like Wayne Grudem, who really did open the door when he did his dissertation on prophecy and talked about prophecy still existing as fallible prophecy. Then it was picked up by D.A. Carson, and it was picked up by John Piper and Sam Storms and other people like that. These are respected people that are really honored by all of us on some fronts. So, it has made space in evangelicalism for this particular view. Now when you confront this view, you are not just targeting heterodox groups. You are hitting orthodox groups.

麦克亚瑟牧师上面这段话的意思如下:

随着古德恩这样人士的到来,他在有关预言的论文里说,预言还是存在的,但却是有可能出错,而不是无误的。然后,他的这种说法就被卡森,约翰派博,等人所用。这些人都是受人所尊敬的,在一些前沿领域他们也是我们所尊重的。所以,古德恩的这种特别观点,就在福音主义里获取了一些空间。如今,当你与这种观点对抗时,你的对象和目标就不只是异端团体,而是也在抨击正统的团体。

为什么古德恩的神学里既有改革宗的,也有灵恩派的呢?2005年他接受Tim Challies 的采访时说道,“I’ve been in a Vineyard church, I was about five years in a Vineyard church; I did a pastoral internship while I was at Westminster Seminary in an Orthodox Presbyterian Church。” 也就是说,古德恩曾经有5年的时间是在葡萄园教会,而当他在神学院时,他是在正统的长老会教会做实习牧师。( 引自《Continuationism and Cessationism (Part 2): An Interview with Dr. Wayne Grudem》 )

从古德恩的经历和背景来看,他这种混合的神学观点和立场或许是由来已久,也比较明显和典型,以致被称为是灵恩派的改革宗人士。
