A whistling bird was a type of weapon used by Mandalorians. They were small guided munitions made with a rare type metal known as Beskar and placed in Mandalorian vambraces. When it is launched by activating the vambraces, it will launch twelve miniature explosive projectiles and with whistling noises as they fly through to air and  automatically aim at a group of targets killing them with a small explosion. Din Djarin is one of the famous Mandalorian who uses whistling bird that are equipped in his left vambraces.

History/Background Body Paragraph: 

Around 9 ABY,  The Armorer was the one who made whistling birds for the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and she is one of those in position as the task of Mandalorian Armorer. It is designed to hide the element to surprise the enemy. Din Djarin later used several whistling birds during a scuffle with the Devaronian mercenary Burg, but failed to land a single projectile due to the close confines of the room. In 35 ABY, the bounty hunter Carib Diss wore a Mandalorian rocket gauntlet equipped with whistling birds even though he didn't complete a set of Mandalorian Armor while residing on Kijimi.

Din Djarin launched his whistling bird by activating with his vambraces to kill four more stormtroopers that had surrounded and ordered him surrender during his mission to “Rescuing the Child”.
