General Body Paragraph: Hyperspace is a parallel dimension that allows space vessels to travel far distances in a short period of time. Hyperspace can only be activated if a space vessel has a hyperdrive. Only larger known vessels have a functioning hyperdrive but it is also rare to see smaller starfighter variants with a working hyperdrive as well. Though smaller vessels with no hyperdrive could still manage to activate hyperspace if they have access to a hyperspace ring. The hyperspace ring allowed a small space vessel with no hyperdrive to obtain past beyond the speed of light through hyperspace. Like all vessels, they need fuel, same goes for a hyperdrive. In order to achieve hyperspace the hyperdrive must be fueled with specific hypermatter, one of these materials is coaxium. Coaxium is a type of hyperfuel used to achieve hyperspace. It was one of the more expensive and rare forms of hypermatter and was mined off the planet of Kessel. Coaxium in its unrefined raw form was very volatile and explosive, this hypermatter would turn red in its unrefined form and only would return to a refined state in a controlled temperature environment.

History/Background Body Paragraph: Hyperspace was a natural occurring event through the galaxy as well. The species known as purrgil are able to naturally go through hyperspace and have been for many years.

Additional Information Paragraph: All vessels going through hyperspace followed hyperlanes, hyperlanes were like roads throughout the galaxy. These roads would be followed by putting in coordinates in a vessel's navigation computer. These hyperlanes would prevent vessels from danger such as ending up being incinerated in stars or being thrown into a blackhole.
