General Information Body Paragraph: Built upon Mustafar, a volcanic planet, Fortress Vader was the formidable stronghold of Darth Vader. The fortress was constructed atop an ancient Sith temple and a Sith Cave which still harbored a dark side locus from the days of the Galactic Empire. Additionally, lying beneath it was the Corvax Fortress that had stood for ages.

History/Background Body Paragraph: The ambitious design for the castle was crafted by Darth Momin, a long-deceased Sith Lord and artist whose presence had been preserved in a haunted mask. Using the Force energy from a dark side locus beneath the fortress, he planned to open a portal to the dark side. After gaining approval from his successor Darth Vader, resources were allocated to construct the castle with Momin's original plans. However, upon completion, Vader failed to unlock its mysteries. Thus began an arduous process of trial and error, during which nine different designs were created and tested before the perfect ninth was established. This allowed for successful access to the dark side - but just as it happened, Vader's attention was drawn away by a Mustafarian uprising. Seizing this momentary opportunity, Momin materialized his spirit back into corporeal form and opened the door himself.

Vader's intervention failed and the Mustafarians destroyed the Imperial garrison. He then retreated to the castle where he used its power to eliminate them as well. In a brief duel, Momin was able to inflict severe damage upon Vader before being crushed by a stone slab. With Momin, the Mustafarians and Imperial garrison all dead, Vader had to find a way of opening the door to the dark side himself. His spirit ventured into the portal in search of his deceased wife Padmé Amidala, but returned empty handed. Using the fortress' energy, he then destroyed the portal before reporting back to his master Darth Sidious about his return to Coruscant. After that incident, an Imperial Inspector got driven insane by fumes from Vader's lava river creating Vaneé - Vader's servant from then on who remained devotedly loyal to him.

Additional Information Body Paragraph: Vaneé was a male human attendant, devoted to Darth Vader's service in the Sith Lord's castle on Mustafar. Created by an Imperial Inspector gone mad from lava fumes, Vaneé was fanatically loyal to his master. He and Vader together experienced numerous assaults from the Mustafarian, one by Criakan and another by Mother Sssl.
