The High Republic Era, also known as the age of the High Republic, was the period of time spanning from approximately 500 BBY to 100 BBY, during which the Galactic Republic was said to be at its peak. It was a period of expansion and exploration of the Outer Rim Territories and was considered an era of peace in the galaxy. The Age of the High Republic was also a golden age for the Jedi Order, who were significantly more spread out across the galaxy.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

In the golden age of the High Republic Era, The Jedi Order is at its peak and is incredibly open, diverse and accepting. They are a clearly separate entity from the Galactic Republic, but still help it and work alongside it while continuing the ongoing struggle for peace at the center. Their influence extends across the galaxy, as they have many outposts throughout the galaxy. During this era, a Jedi named Barash Silvain began what is known as the Barash Oath, in which Jedi were allowed to become isolated hermits, spending all their time trying to listen and reconnect with Divine force. The Jedi Order also allowed Jedi to become Wayseekers during this time, which were Jedi who did not follow the Jedi Council and only nomadically followed the will of the Force. Additionally, hyperspace exploration was extremely popular at this time due to the largely unexplored nature of the outer rim. Two famous families, the San Tekka family and the Graf family became famous for their efforts and successes in hyperspace exploration.

However, communications were extremely unreliable during this time, especially on the Galactic Frontier, where there were few organized communication systems. The unknown of the frontier and beyond has given rise to many fairy tales of mysterious planets and monstrous creatures. Piracy was also rampant during this time as the Republic's reach was limited and many pirates roamed the Borders. One famous pirate was Pirate Queen Maz Kanata, who hosted many other famous pirates and scoundrels at her castle on the planet Takodana as well as her crew. Stories about her and the pirates at Takodana Castle were largely spread by the famous explorer Dexter Jettster.

At the end of the High Republic Era, Count Dooku was born and accepted into the Jedi Order. Near the end of the Era of the High Republic, Dooku passed the Initiation Trial and was adopted by Yoda as his Padawan. At this time, Jedi initiates told stories of Klias Teradine, a Padawan who lived during the High Republic and also discovered the Archive of Forbidden Artifacts.

The First Battle of Geonosis was the largest Jedi deployment since the High Republic Era. During the subsequent Clone Wars, General Grievous attempted to steal High Republic artifacts from the light cruiser Stellar Rise.
