General Information Body Paragraph:

Luminara Unduli of the planet Mirial, a stern force sensitive female warrior who took no nonsense. She was a jedi who made her mark on the universe. Unduli came from a very spiritual culture that viewed the force as an equal rather than something to control. The species was known for being very traditional leading to Luminara’s padawan.  The green-skinned Mirialan was the master of a young Barriss Offee, another Mirialan —prior to said padawan’s betrayal towards the order.  By agreement, Miralan padawans were only to be taught by a Jedi of the same species. 

However, She was most known for her strength and wisdom, as she soon became a mentor to a youngling named Caleb Dume and Ashoka Tano. The former of the two who admired her with significant respect. Unduli also would be witness to much internal political strife  such as that between the Jedi and Supreme chancellor Shreev Palpatine in regards to the potential conflict between the order and Count Dooku’s followers, the separatists. She was also there during many other significant political debates such as  Palpatine's taking over of supreme executive powers.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

She was willing to die fighting till her last breath as was displayed during the clone wars —specifically the first battle of Geonosis. After the capture of Obi-wan Kenobi, she took part in the rescue mission that took over. The plan heated up as during the rescue, a challenge was also offered up to Count Dooku, the confederacy’s leader. Despite many Jedi falling, she continued to fight and refused to die without honor by surrendering.  Her life, and many others, were saved however as a result of the arrival of Master Yoda and the Republic’s grand army.

Though wise and strong, she too had flaws such as listening to the warnings of others. Throughout her time, there were many run-ins with a particular assassin named  Asajj Ventress. This assassin proved to be even incredibly powerful against her skills. Regardless, she proceeded to charge head on and face her —Despite Ahsoka Tano, now Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan, warning her. Ventress fooled her many times, however ultimately, Luminara eventually admitted that the assassin was too much to handle. Still, Unduli was a powerful Jedi Master, who stood on an even footing with Ventress, even when at a disadvantage at the lack of an eye.

Upon the return to Geonosis, Masters Ki-Adi-Mundi and Obi-Wan Kenobi were sent to destroy a droid factory by Poggles the Lesser. She had tagged along to assist in the mission alongside Anakin Skywalker, and their padawans —Ahsoka Tano and Barriss Offee. Master and padawan split to do their tasks however after an encounter, things took a dangerous turn as the separatists' new tanks triggered the explosives planted within. There was a moment that she believed the two Padawans were dead, but grew relieved to see them make it out alive.

Through this however, she mentioned to Skywalker that one day he’d need to let Ahsoka go and to be prepared.

Additional Information Body Paragraph

Her end was rather unfortunate. Under Darth Sidious, Order 66 was issued —A devastating command to all clone troopers in which they turned on the Jedi. At the time, Unduli was battling a droid army alongside her own. She was believed to have been shot down by her former subordinates, ultimately however it was discovered that she was able to escape that fate but ended up captive  by the empire. Luminara’s end was an execution in the spire, a prison on Stygeon Prime. The Grand Inquisitor was present and as would be eventually found out, her remains were kept and eventually used as bait for a trap.

Later on, word was spread about her passing and the use of her remains. Luminara’s presence  continued to exist however as during a visit to Lothal's Jedi Temple, Jarrus’ vision saw her saber. Later on in 35 ABY, during the Battle of Exegol,  Rey would hear her voice amongst the other voices of fallen Jedi who assisted in defeating the resurrected Darth Sidious.
