     Jedi Master Tera Sinube was an elder member of the Jedi Order. He was a male of the Cosian species. Master Sinube was renowned for his knowledge on the crime world of the planet Coruscant. He served the Order as a Jedi Investigator, and despite his old age and slow movement in comparison to many other Jedi, he was more skilled at crime solving than even the experienced police force. Sinube was a gifted force user and incredibly patient man. He firmly adhered to the belief that “The value of moving slowly is that one can always clearly see the way ahead.”

History/Background Body Paragraph:

     Master Sinube was a man of over 200 years of age. Apart from being a Jedi Investigator and a devoted teacher, he formerly sat on the Jedi High Council for a period of time. Unfortunately, he was one of the incredibly long list of Jedi victims of Darth Sidious’ Order 66. Whether he was killed in the initial attack on the Jedi Temple on Coruscant or was tracked and overwhelmed by the power of the Inquisitorius is unknown. Both answers could be equally fitting as Master Sinube spent a lot of time at the Jedi Temple researching in the archives and training younglings. His extensive experience and knowledge of the Coruscant underworld paired with his combat skill could have possibly allowed him to hide for a time. What is known however, is that by the year 9 BBY his body was found preserved inside the Fortress Inquisitorius.

     Although Sinube preferred attention to details and handling situations slowly and carefully, he could hold his own in lightsaber combat despite his incredibly old age. He wielded a cane-saber, which was a walking stick that he used to support himself. It featured a removable handle that served as the hilt of an ignitable lightsaber. When former Padawan Ahsoka Tano lost her lightsaber to thieves, Master Sinube helped her track Cassie Cryar, the current holder of Ahsoka’s lightsaber. While Padawan Tano preferred to rush head-first into a chase with Cassie knowing she herself was defenseless, Master Sinube took the time to catch the overconfident Cassie off-guard. Cryar believed that wielding a lightsaber gave her the same power and skill as the Jedi, a notion Sinube disproved with a fell swoop of his own lightsaber. His quick action removed Ahsoka’s lightsaber from Cassie’s hand, leaving her beaten and ready to be taken into police custody.
