General Information Body Paragraph: Bastila Shan was the daughter of Helena Shan and a hunter on the planet of Talravin. From a young age, Shan displayed exceptional talent in using the Force. Brought into the Jedi Order ranks, she swiftly became a Jedi Sentinel, and one the most active supporters to the cause. During the year 3957 BBY, Shan and a team of three other Jedi were tasked with capturing Darth Revan. During the battle, Revan’s apprentice, Malak, betrayed him.  Shan reflected to herself that all life is valuable, and saved Darth Revan using the Force. Revan would then come to join their side near the events of the Destruction of Taris.

History/Background Body Paragraph:After being captured by Darth Malak during a quest for the Star Forge, Shan along with the other members of her team, Onasi and Revan, were subjected to isolated torture. Malak captured Shan many times, torturing her until she gave into hate, becoming the Dark Lord’s apprentice. She had officially sworn allegiance to Malak, declaring she would aid him in his conquest. Revan and Shan met at the Star Forge, Shan with orders to kill Revan to prove herself worthy. And yet, she was no match for him. Revan showed Shan the way of the light once again, through his love for her. 

Additional Information Body Paragraph: After the war Bastila Shan got married and settled on Coruscant. Although her relations with the Jedi Council soon fell to ruin because they did not agree with whomst she married, which was Revan. They viewed him as a heretic because of how he viewed love. It mainly sprouted from that of the people who still didn’t forgive him for falling to the dark side. Bastila sided with Revan when it came to the debate against the Council. The Council considered Bastila one of their greatest students and they believed that Revan would control her in some way with his ideals.The lineage of Bastila and Revan eventually came to Satele Shan, who was the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order and their secret son Theron Shan who was a Republic spy. They lived during the era that followed the Great Galactic War.
