Created by the Krath, the Krath war droid was a deadly battle droid with a humanoid figure. They were easy to manufacture and were often deployed in vast quantities around their enemies. However, due to the limitation of advanced technologies, the programming often hindered the war droids from reaching their full potential on the battlefield. The Krath war droids were only programmed to take down the largest threat at the time, ignoring any other threat within range. This was a huge downside to a powerful machine, and if the programming had been improved at the time, the Jedi could have been wiped out.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Established in 3,998 BBY, the Krath were a secret society that worshiped the dark side of the Force. They had many artifacts that were imbued with the Sith and the Force. By 3,997 BBY, the Krath had devised a plan for galactic power and had created their own military. The Krath would kill any political leaders who opposed them, taking control of the planet's governments without political conflict. The same year, the Krath decided to attack the Jedi during the Conclave at Deneba. The Krath war droids were created just for that purpose.

The Krath war droids were equipped with a sword and a pulse-wave bow. When the droids were sent to the Conclave at Deneba, they were disguised as servant droids in order to surprise the Jedi with an attack. The Conclave at Deneba was a gathering of many Jedi in order to discuss the growing threat of the dark side. Prophecies were created here, but not long before the Krath deployed their attack. Confused by the attack, many Jedi were killed during this gathering. The Jedi eventually won the battle, but the death toll was extreme. The Krath had lost mindless droids to the battle, but the Jedi lost many Knights and Jedi Masters. Over time, the Krath war droid went almost entirely extinct. A few years before the Clone Wars, General Grievous was created out of the shell of a Krath war droid. After Grievous’s death in 19 BBY, the Krath body was used for research and was used to create a series of N-K Necrosis droids.
