The Skywalker family played a prominent role in galactic history, with several generations achieving fame as generals, senators, and Jedi from the fall of the Republic and the rise of the Empire to the most recent conflict between the First Order and the Resistance. The family's origins date back to Shmi Skywalker who conceived a son Anakin Skywalker without a father.

Luke’s father, Anakin Skywalker, was enslaved on the planet Tatooine when Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn found him. Qui-Gon takes an interest in Anakin's connection to the Force and legacy. After becoming free from Watto Jr., he goes to Coruscant, outside of his home in the Outer Rim Territories to train as a Jedi knight. During this time, he has many battles which earn him a reputation for heroism. He starts to see darkness in himself and accepts help from a Sith Lord (Darth Vader) after his mother dies.

Unknown to Vader, his children survived and were hidden from him. His children emerged on the Empire’s side during the Galactic Civil War, Luke was sent to live with his relatives and Leia was adopted by the House of Organa, making her a princess. Vader tried to turn Luke to the dark side by revealing their secret (that they are siblings) but this did not work because Luke believed that his father could be turned back to the light side of the Force. In 4 ABY, Vader sacrificed himself in order to save his son. After defeating Sidious, Anakin Skywalker died as the last Dark Lord of the Sith and restored balance before returning to being Force Anakin Skywalker

Luke Skywalker, the last Jedi and most prominent member of the Skywalker clan, hoped to train a new generation in the arts of the Force. His sister, Leia Organa, was a rising New Republic Senator instead of his student. She married Han Solo and had a son, Ben Solo. When Ben reached adulthood, he turned to the Force's dark side and became Kylo Ren. He killed his uncle - Luke Skywalker's brother - for being a master with Snoke's permission and later killed his father (Leia Organa's husband Han Solo) when commanded by Supreme Leader Snoke. Luke Skywalker continued to teach Rey, Rey's lightsaber skills rivalled Kylo Ren's superior abilities and they duelled. Luke ended up sacrificing himself in order to save Rey just before Kylo Ren was about to strike her down with his lightsaber.

The Skywalker family has achieved a ton. The Jedi Order's fall, the return of the Sith, and the rise and fall of the Empire were all historic events that involved members of the Skywalker family. And during those events, in addition to quickly earning a reputation for greatness, being a part of something really important shaped them as a family.

The Skywalker family originated from Shmi Skywalker, the human female that played a large role in galactic history during the Republic Era. She married Kyakhta and had Qui-Gon, Annaravii, and Eirtrai before dying soon after giving birth to Darrval.

Despite being outlawed by the Galactic Republic, slavery exists in the Outer Rim territories because of the self-interested people there. She has qualities such as kindness and compassion and believes that much of the galaxy's problems stem from selfishness.

Additional Information Body Paragraph

Amidala and Anakin kept their marriage a secret from the Jedi and the Senate while fighting in the Clone Wars. Amidala was a powerful advocate of diplomacy, working toward a peaceful solution to the pan-galactic war between the Republic and the Confederate of Independent Systems during her service as Naboo's senator on Coruscant. Anakin's elevation to Jedi Knight and General allowed him to serve as an officer in the Grand Army of The Republic, with his former master often at his side. Despite being concerned for her safety, Amidala nevertheless played a crucial role in establishing an alliance between Mast'haa's Hutt Clan and the Republic.

His wife, Padme Amidala, did her best to interfere with hise life as a Jedi Knight. Anakin would always visit her when he got the chance and helped with whatever task she needed assistance with. When Amidala sent C-3PO and R2-D2 to procure Jogan fruit for dessert, they were captured by bounty hunter Cad Bane.
