General Information Body Paragraph: 

The Inhibitor chips were made for the Clone Army. These Inhibitor chips were a very unique and complicated device, and had a very interesting ability. This chip had the ability to make clone troopers follow any orders. The time, or situation didn’t matter, the inhibitor chips would physically make them follow orders, and if so, mentally. This was extremely beneficial towards the Clone Army, and it was essential to them, yet if in the wrong hands, everything would become chaos.

History/Background Body Paragraph: 

The inhibitor chips were ordered along with the rest of the Clone Army by Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas, or better known as Qui-Gon-Gin, at around 32 BBY. There were only a few people who knew about this. Some were clone troopers, and some were Jedi, or Sith. Ofcourse, Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas knew, as well as Darth Sidious, clone trooper well known as “Fives”, and clone trooper Captain Rex. The advantage of inhibitor chips allowed Darth Sidious to work his way up through the ranks, and eventually have the power to command them, and eventually did, naming the event “Order 66”.

Additional Information Body Paragraph:

No one knows if Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas  personally ordered the creation of the inhibitor chips, or just permitted the producers of the Clone Army to develop them into the clone brains. Infact, he did not even clarify in the timeline that he knew about the inhibitor chips, nor did the creator of the Clone Army, Lama Su. Inhibitor chips were highly top secret, and is the reason why as I mentioned before, not many people knew about them.
