General Information Body Paragraph:

Gial Ackbar served during the Clone Wars. He fought in the Battle of Mon Cala where he assisted in safely securing Prince Lee-Char and his accent as the king of Mon Cala. After the Clone Wars, and during the rise of the Galactic Empire, Gial became the military leader in the new republic. He was seen as a symbol of retaliation, or defiance to the Galactic Empire’s subjugation of non-human species. Him being seen as this symbol rallied up the Calamari to the republic’s cause.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Gial Ackbar was born during the final years of the Galactic Republic on the planet of Mon Cala. He enlisted into the military as a Mon Calamari Guard. With this position, his goal was to defend Mon Cala’s monarchs and dignitaries. With much effort, Gial worked his way through the ranks and earned himself the rank of captain, thus leading the Mon Calamari guards. Additionally, with this position, he became the chief military advisor to the leader of Mon Cala.

Additional Information Body Paragraph:

Gial Ackbar had many skills besides being an incredible military leader. He would keep his mind and body in peak condition. For example, he would regularly practice kar-shak against simulated stormtroopers. Although he wasn’t sensitive to the force, and was not as powerful as a Jedi or Sith, he possessed many above average skills:  intelligence, diplomacy, strength, speed, and fighting abilities. His strongest skill though, was his incredible intelligence, thus the reason he was an impeccable military leader.
