General Information Body Paragraph: Sith Alchemy, was an ability of the Dark Side of The Force, mostly used by Sith Scientists and Sith Alchemists. Sith Alchemy included rituals that could either strengthen the one casting the spell, or could also be used to weaken another target or victim, most commonly used against Jedi by Sith. 

History/Background Body Paragraph: Darth Sidious was one notable user of Sith Alchemy. During the Clone Wars, he conducted a Sith Alchemy ritual alongside another Dark Side Force ability called Force Clouding to mask his true appearance as a Sith. This allowed him to fool even the Jedi High Council. Even Grandmaster Yoda was fooled. 

Additional Information Body Paragraph: Darth Plagueis, was another Sith Lord, who was the master of Darth Sidious. Darth Plagueis was very profound in his use of Sith Alchemy, known to be able to use the Force to create life and prevent death. Ironically, his knowledge could not prevent his own death, as he taught all he knew to his apprentice, Darth Sidious, who then subsequently killed him in his sleep. After Palpatine found out that Anakin had indeed loved Padme very dearly, he used Sith Alchemy to make Anakin have dreams of Padme dying in childbirth, to manipulate him into seeking the knowledge of the Dark Side of The Force.
