Padmé Amidala, was born on the planet Naboo as Padmé Naberrie in 46 BBY. She is the younger daughter of Ruwee & Jobal Naberrie. Her older sister is Sola Naberrie. From her early life, Padmé was a volunteer in relief missions with her father, Ruwee. Ruwee was an ally of the Galactic Senate, and was friends with Onaconda Farr. Whom Padmé would call ‘Uncle Ono.’
At the young age of 8, she would join the Apprentice Legislative. Eventually she became a Junior Senatorial Advisor, The first step in her political career. She received her education at the Theed Royal Academy in politics.  Shortly after she started a two year mandate as supervisor of Theed. This was also known as Princess of Theed. 

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Two years later, she made the house Amidala and ran as Queen as “Candidate Amidala” to hide her identity. Her main movement was to be calm, and connect the Chomell Sector together as allies. Who the current Queen, Sandadrassa, was not in favor of. The day of the elections Quarsh Panaka walked in and informed the then Queen Amidala she had won the election.
After her coronation, she and Panaka had met together and created the Royal Handmaiden position. These Handmaidens were made to look like Queen Amidala. All of these handmaidens would take names like Padmé,  To train as her bodyguard, and to replace her as a shadow if need be. 

Padmé’s main shadow was Sabé, previously known as Tsaban. Sabé & Padmé had created a voice they could mimic, which is why Queen Amidala was known to have a low-tone voice. They would both keep a serious face when being Amidala. The role as Queen Amidala became a character to them, in a way. Since Padmé took the name Amidala, she was free to be Padmé as a regular Handmaiden.

The Crisis on Naboo, Queen Amidala’s planet was blockaded by the Trade Federation. This happened after the Chommell Sectors first summit hosted in the palace. As the last ships left, the Trade Federation Arrived. The Royal Advisory Council, Governor & Panaka met as an emergency with the Queen Amidala. During this, she received a transmission from Nute Gunray to sign a treaty. This treaty was for the Trade Federation to take control with Naboo receiving nothing in return. After contacting Senator Palpatine, he explained they planned on taking control of the trade route to tax. Naboo was their main planet in the operation. Their transmission was shut down, as the Trade Federation created a blockade of the planet. 

The Galactic Republic was sent Ambassadors on behalf of Chancellor Valorum. The Ambassadors are Qui-Gon Jinn & Obi-Wan Kenobi. While they were on their way, Queen Amidala & the citizens of Theed were captured and placed into a camp. The two Jedi rescued Amidala and her Handmaidens. They fled the Planet. 

The hyperdrive on the Royal Starship was shot as they escaped, where they made a pit stop on the Planet Tatooine. Here Amidala requested her handmaiden, Padmé was sent with the Jedi on her behalf. Little did these two Jedi know it was Queen herself, and Sabé was Amidala. On Tatooine Padmé discovered the presence of non-paid workers on the planet. Her goal was to free these individuals, which she would send Sabé to do so in a later time. She met Shmi & Anakin Skywalker. Who helped them with fixing their hyperdrive. Anakin had won a pod race that gave them a new hyperdrive, and his freedom. He became a Jedi Youngling due to this.

As they went to Coruscant, Amidala had discovered corruption within the Senate and moved for a Vote of No Confidence.  She returned to the planet to finish the battle on Naboo. She let Sabé play Queen Amidala to protect her own safety, and fought as Padmé the Handmaiden. As they pleaded for the Gungan’s help, she revealed to them that she was Queen Amidala and was forced to protect herself. She brought the Gungans and Naboo together, winning their planet back. They celebrated with a parade. 

Additional Information Body Paragraph 

She served two full terms as Queen, the people wanting to have her grow a third by amending the constitution.She declined, and Queen Réillate asked her to become the new Senator of Naboo & the Chommell sector.   As she was on her tour, her life was threatened for the first time. Bail Organa had saved her life that day. She attended a get-together hosted by the Chancellor with Rush Clovis. Where she met Mina Bonteri & Mon Mothma. She would make many connections as a Senator. She provided to them later on with a later get-together she could be a trusted Senator. She was sent on many off world planets and meetings over the next 10 years.

Before the Clone Wars, Padmé’s life was yet again threatened by assignation attempts. Obi-Wan Kenobi & his Padawan Anakin Skywalker. She requested familiar faces. Due to the threat of her life, both her and Anakin had gone back to her homeworld to a lake house. During this time, their feelings for one another started to bloom. During this time Anakin was having premonitions of his mother dying. Padmé and Anakin had left for Tatooine to find his mother. Padmé had already tried to free her by sending Sabé. As they were there, Obi-Wan Kenobi sent them a transmission to send to the Council. They both left for Geonisis where they found a foundry. As Padmé and Anakin were being taken out to be killed, she finally admitted her feelings.

After being rescued by Clones & Jedi, Padmé & Anakin had married in secret. Instead of exchanging rings, the estranged droids. She gave R2-D2, he gave her C3PO. The war had gone on and the two fulfilled their duty. He was always in the front lines and she fought the war in the Senate. During the war Padmé often found herself in the front lines more than other Senators. Once being caught by the CIS’s Malevolence, or a diplomatic mission between the Mon Cala & Quarren. This mission she was sent alongside Anakin and his Padawan, Ahsoka. 

Before Anakin had left for a battle for months, she had gotten pregnant. They spoke via hologram as Rex guarded the outside as his General spoke to his wife. As this went on, Padmé had founded the Galactic Alliance alongside other Loyalist Faction members. This would later be formed into the Rebel Alliance. 

Once Anakin had come back to Coruscant, she revealed to Anakin that she’d become pregnant. He was happy about this, but would have the same nightmares he had about his mother. This would send Anakin in a spiral of fear, which eventually would get caught on by Palpatine. Anakin turned to the dark side with the goal of learning a way to save his wife. Padmé had watched the Republic & liberty fall before her eyes. As people applauded the announcement of the Empire, she was devastated. “So this is how liberty dies. With a thunderous applause.”

Obi-Wan had gone to Padmé’s apartment, being aware that her and Anakin were in contact the time he was away. He had informed her of what Anakin had done with Order 66, and that he had turned. Obi-Wan discovered that Anakin was the father. 

Padme did not agree with this, and confronted her husband on the planet Mustafar. As Obi-Wan came out of the ship, which Padmé was not aware he was, he choked her in anger. She lay unconscious, heavily pregnant, after Darth Vader choked her. Which broke her heart, causing a spiral into the death Anakin feared. She later gave birth on Polis Massa to Leia & Luke Skywalker. She held out long enough to meet her babies, and died after telling Obi-Wan, there is still good in him. 

Padmé Naberrie Amidala, the former Queen & Senator was laid to rest in her own tomb at 19 BBY. A fake pregnancy bump was put on her via holocron to make it seem like her baby had died with her, to fool the Emperor & Darth Vader.  The only people to know of the birth was, Breha & Bail Organa, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi and the mortician Commodex Tahn. Her legacy was kept on. A statue was placed of her at the Royal Palace of Alderaan, and around the planet Naboo.
