    Umbara, also known as the “Shadow World”, was a planet located in the Ghost Nebula sector of the Expansion Region of the galaxy. It’s well known for its exportation of doonium - a valuable material used in the construction of starships. The world was called the “Shadow World” due to the lack of sunlight on its surface.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

    Planet Umbara was cut off from the rest of the galaxy for quite a long time. This caused the native species to develop technology far more advanced than what the rest of the galaxy had accomplished. During the Clone Wars, the world was a part of the Galactic Republic - this did not last long, however, since Umbara ended up becoming a part of the Confederacy of Independent Systems before falling under the reign of Galactic Empire.

Additional Information Body Paragraph:

    The main inhabitants of the planet - the Umbarans - were a humanoid species with pale bluish skin, colourless eyes. The world also sported a large variety of predatory animals and plant life.
