General Information Body Paragraph: Short weapons, modified from the original lightsaber's blueprint, the lightwhip contains multiple plasma blades made flexible, however resulting in lesser powerful cuts. By using dozens of smaller emitters, those flexible blades were created, once reaching many meters in its length. As similar as it might be to electro-whips, this somewhat Jedi weapon still holds the ability to retract the blade when needed, especially considering the danger of cutting or badly damaging several limbs. For its overall functioning, it serves as any lightsaber, although many do not sympathize with this variation due to its natural lack of control, opposed to a lightsaber's stationary blade.

History/Background Body Paragraph: Dating back from the Sith Wars, these weapons more mostly used by the Nightsisters of Dathomir, even though a few Jedi had been using them due to its success in overcoming forbidden Sith forms. Still during the High Republic Era, a knight named Vernestra Rwoh modified her regular lightsaber to contain one more whip, upon a design shown by a Force vision.

Additional Information Body Paragraph: As odd as it might also seem, it is possible to modify every lightsaber to hold a whip mode by adjusting the blade's control with a simple switch.
