General Information Body Paragraph: In the Outer Rim Territories, a planet called Mandalore existed. It was the homeworld of the deadly warrior race known as the Mandalorians, who attacked the Jedi and their temple during the fall of the Old Republic. They were feared throughout the galaxy and had political sway over 2,000 other star systems. They wore unusual armor that was frequently constructed of Beskar.

History/Background Body Paragraph: The Jedi Order was a frequent target of the ancient Mandalorian battles. Before Tarre Vizsla, there had never been a Mandalorian inducted into the Jedi Order. Mandalorian commandos attacked the Coruscant Jedi Temple during the fall of the Old Republic and took Vizsla's Darksaber. Tarre Vizsla presided over the entire Mandalore before he passed away.

Additional Information Body Paragraph: The planet's environment was scorching and dry, but it was friendly enough for life to exist, and for a race of humans to flourish. A dead desert has replaced the planet's once-rich surface of jungles, forests, oceans, mountains, and jewel-colored lakes.
