General Information Body Paragraph:

During the Clone Wars, there was a conflict in Devaron between the Galactic Republic, the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and the Trade Federation. Cad Bane, a bounty hunter from Duros, led the Separatist and Federation fleet on behalf of the Sith, who had kidnapped Jedi Master Bolla Ropal. Bane sought to unlock the Holocron that Ropal had taken from the Jedi Temple so that it could read the kyber memory crystal that Ropal held. Shortly after Ropal was kidnapped, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan Ahsoka Tano, who had been dispatched after Bane, arrived in the Devaron system aboard the Resolute.

The homeworld of the Devaronian species was Devaron, a terrestrial rainforest planet in the Colonies of the galaxy's Devaron system. In addition to being the location of a Jedi Temple, the planet saw action during the Clone Wars and a skirmish during the Galactic Civil War.

As the invading Venator-class Star Destroyer destroyed the frigates accompanying Bane's flagship, Bane killed Ropal by torture after failing to get him to unlock the Jedi Holocron that had been taken. The bounty hunter altered his plans when Skywalker, Tano, and Clone Captain Rex carried out an unplanned invasion of Bane's flagship in an attempt to apprehend him. Tano was captured, forcing Skywalker to activate the Holocron. The Holocron was then lost, and Bane's flagship was destroyed. The Jedi assumed that Bane had been murdered by the clone warrior Denal. But in reality, Bane had slain Denal and taken use of his armor to board the escape shuttle, allowing him to leave the Resolute and start a new hunt for him.
