General Information Body Paragraph

Allya was a female Jedi who is most known for being banished by the Jedi Council and sent to the planet Dathomir in 660 BBY. Allya was also adept in the Force but ultimately was swayed to the Dark side in search of more power, which caused her to be banished. The Council hoped that her isolation would force her back to the Light side, however, it ended up being the creation of powerful Witch clans that were all taught by the former Knight Allya.

History/Background Body Paragraph

When arriving on Dathomir, she discovered the planet also served as a colony for the Republics' worst rule-breakers. Using the Force, she quickly tamed the wild beasts there and rose to command where she set up a Matriarchal society where men had little to no power and “established a genetic Force component.” As for the women, she taught every one of them the power of the Force. This was how she created “Dathomirian Magic”

Additional Information Body Paragraph

The Jedi Council first considered execution as punishment for Allya’s crimes, but the Jedi Code stated to value all life so they settled for her exile where she formed the Witches of Dathomir. Even though this is not what the Council ever would have expected, their intentions for sending her there did come to fruition when Allya saw that she had enslaved her sons and limited the knowledge of her magic to just her daughters. To make up for what she had done, she formed the Book of Law that was based on the Jedi Code so that her daughters would not be corrupted by the Dark Side.
