Masana Tide, more commonly known as the Ninth Sister, was a Force Sensitive female Dowutin and Imperial Inquisitor during the early era of Galactic Empirical Rule. She served Darth Vader in several missions including a mission to Cabarria, where she properly understood the psychotic nature of Vader after witnessing him strike down a bar full of civilians and bounty hunters with her own lightsaber. Later, she was sent on a mission to Mon Cala along with the Tenth and Sixth Brothers and a batch of Clone Troopers. After encountering Jedi Ferren Barr, Barr used a mind trick on the Clone Troopers to execute Order 66 on the Inquisitors, killing the Tenth Brother. As the Sixth Brother and Ninth Sister attempted to escape, the Sixth Brother severed the Ninth Sister’s leg in an attempt to use her as bait to escape. Despite her near death experience, she escaped Mon Cala. In 14 BBY, a probe discovered Jedi Survivor, Cal Kestis, on the planet of Bracca. After a short fight, Kestis freed himself from the Ninth Sister and escaped. Later, they met again on Kashyyyk, where they engaged in a duel. After a long fight, Kestis launched her into a tree and knocked her out. In their final meeting in 9 BBY on Coruscant, the two began to duel on a rooftop. After a grueling fight, the Ninth Sister attempted to fatally stab Kestis, but was instead decapitated and killed immediately.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Born on the planet Dowut sometime before the Battle of Naboo. Later on, she was granted the rank of Jedi Knight and served as a Jedi General during the Clone Wars. Following Operation Knightfall and Order 66 in 19 BBY, Tide survived the initial clone onslaught, but was later captured by Emperor Palpatine. After being relentlessly tortured in captivity, Tide fell to the dark side and joined the Inquisitorius Program under the pseudonym  Ninth Sister.
