General Information Body Paragraph: 

Togruta were a type of humanoid species most easily identified by their varying skin tones. Like other beings within the galaxy, they had Montrals and head tails. Typically, the female Togrutas head tails were longer than the males. These creatures were known to have originated from the planet Shili. They typically inhabited mountainous or elevated areas. Their varying colorations were known to act as a camouflage for their species. Togruta’s colors could consist of any of the following: red, white, yellow, or orange. 

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Two notable Togruta were Jedi Master Shaak Ti and Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano. Within her time Jedi Master Shaak Ti managed to earn herself a chair on the Jedi High Council. Shaak Ti was also chosen to serve as representative of Kamino. It was here where she would oversee the training and development of the clones. She was one of the many lives lost in the siege of the Jedi Temple, led by Darth Vader.

Ahsoka Tano was the Padawan of renowned Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker. Though off to a bumpy start, Ahsoka managed to become a formidable Padawan whilst training with Anakin. Unfortunately, she was framed for a crime and barred from carrying out her duty as a Jedi. This misjudgement on the Jedi Council’s part stirred Tano’s confidence in the Jedi ultimately leading her to part ways with the Order.

Additional Information Body Paragraph:

Togruta were particularly protective of their world as well as the moons that surrounded it. They believed the ground of which they walked upon was sacred. This very belief led many Torguta’s to roam their lands barefoot, only wearing boots when venturing somewhere off-world.
