The Inferno Squad, or just Inferno, was a special elite imperial division led by Admiral Garrick Versio and Commander Iden Versio. They mainly specialized in missions such as infiltration, sabotage, and assassination.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

The Inferno Squad was created after the battle of Scarif in 0 ABY by Emperor Palpatine and under the control of Admiral Garrick Versio; the Empire created this squad to stop the Rebel activity. The squad was originally composed of four members with the best training with blasters and as pilots, the agents were: Iden Versio, Del Meeko, Gideon Hask, and Seyn Marana. The inferno was also authorized to operate even without receiving orders from a superior.

The Squad is known for the undercover mission in the old Saw Gerrera's group, the Partisan, after the death of their leader changed their name to Dreamer, who followed the idea of Saw. The Inferno used to spend time as a spy on the rebel group to reveal their secret and kill them. During the mission, Seyn and commander Versio nearly get caught and the  suicide to let Iden complete the mission and didn't get caught. During this time Iden starts understanding that the rebel was not just a killer against the empire, but normal people. At the end of their work Squad Inferno kept fighting the rebel alliance with their crew on the raider ship Corvus, until the battle of Endor. Near the 4 ABY Iden Versio, daughter of admiral Garrick Versio, pretended to get captured on a rebel cruiser to delete a file with the secret plane of emperor Palpatine for the Battle of Endor and the destruction of the Rebels. When the Rebel Fleet attacked the Death Star in the system of Endor; admiral Garrick Versio sent her daughter with agents Meeko and Hask to rescue the imperial force and protect the shield generator of the battle station. Here the Inferno started a fight with the rebels, but the shield generator was already sabotaged and impossible to fix. The Inferno saw the Death Star blow up in the sky and the Admiral make them retire since the battle was completely lost. After taking some TIE the agents Meeko and Hask reach their ship, while Iden went on his dad's ship the Eviscerator. Here Garrick gave the daughter Idean the information about the death of Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. The admiral gave the information about the last plane of the emperor, Operation Cinder, and what was the Inferno function in the operation. Their first mission was to assist the Imperial cruiser Dauntless to get some essential satellites at the shipyard of Fondor for the operation; during the mission, the rebel attacked with the support of a cruiser. Meeko remained on the Corvus while Iden and Hask used their TIE fighter to defend the Imperial cruiser. After taking down many fighters of the rebel, Iden and Hask infiltrate the rebel's biggest ship and destroy their weapon. The Inferno escaped with the satellites and the Dauntless and bring them to admiral Versio. After rescuing the satellites, the agent Del Meeko had a mission for himself and land on the planer Pillo to destroy an old vault with artifacts of Emperor Palpatine. Here Meeko led a squad of stormtroopers but suddenly met Luke Skywalker.  The young Jedi killed many of Del's soldiers, but after hearing the Inferno member screaming for help since he was stuck in a cave, Luke helped him, and even if Del was shocked by the help of the Jedi, they started fighting each other to reach the vault. After getting in, Luke asked to take one of the artifacts, and Meeko let him take it. During this gathering with the Jedi, some things changed in Del since Skywalker told him that there is a conflict in him. Finished this mission the agent returned with the other member and here, Iden would have given another mission. The Inferno would have gone to Vardos and here rescue an important leader of an Imperial Academy called Director Gleb. Here iden saw the satellites around her homeworld planet, she went to the Eviscerator for talking to the father and found out they would have used the satellites for operation Cinder to destroy Vardos with a storm provoked by them. Iden landed on the planet while the Empire activated the satellites and started provoking the storm by manipulating the weather. Here the Inferno saw that the citizens were not gonna get evacuated even if Vardos was an Imperial world and all of them were loyal to Palpatine. When the squad got Gleb Iden to choose to save the civilian as well; but ask to interrupt her threatening to shoot the civil. Del Meeko picked to stay with Iden since the Empire he served was to give security, not for terror. Versio shoots Hask in his leg and escaped with Del, both now enemies of the Empire. The ex-agent escaped with the Corvus and with those who were on the crew of the ship were loyal to what Iden thought. Del and Iden after thinking about what to do, send a help message to the Rebel Alliance. Lando Calrissian and the Duros Shriv helped them to become rebels and they all attacked the Imperial fleet on Naboo where the satellites of operation Cinder were going to start another storm to destroy the planet. The ex-Inferno and the rebel alliance destroyed the satellites and started the battle on Naboo; with the help of Leia Organa, they saved everyone and destroy many Imperial troopers. Here the ex-queen gives them the chance of being officially part of the New Republic and they became the new Squad Inferno for the rebel fleet. After many months the Inferno went to Takodana to find Han Solo. With new information about admiral Versio's work on two planets; Lando and Shriv went to Sullust to stop a weapon farm, while Iden and Del on bespin to destroy a filling station and try to catch Hask. Lando and Shriv blew up the farm without taking any of the arms for the rebel alliance, and Iden and Del destroyed the station but making Hask escape. With the Imperial fleet coming on the planet of Jakku the rebel followed them and after many battles, Iden thought to finally kill Hask on his fighter. When the Eviscerator joined the battle, Iden tries to save the dad from sure death; but he rejects showing that he still cares about the daughter and admits that she needs to get a good future while he stayed on the ship and died. 30 years after this event, the daughter of Iden and Del joined the resistance. Here the First Order arrested Meeko and Hask, still alive and at the service of the new regime, and killed his old friends. Zey, the daughter of Iden, tried to find where Del was since they did not get any information about him. Here the two found out that Gleb was still alive and helped the First Order kidnap the kid and raise them to create an army. Iden, Shriv, and Zey killed the people who helped Gleb and discovered that she had a base on Vardos with her soldier; the Jinata Security. Here the Inferno arrived on the planet but fall into a trap of the First Order organize by Hask that killed Gleb, arrested Iden and Shriv, reveal that he killed Del and destroy the Corvus that precipitate with Zey still in there. Iden and Shriv escaped from the First Order and Jinata Security. Reached the escaped pod they found out that Zey survived. The mother revealed to her daughter that it was not Gleb that killed her dad but it was Hask. The trio reached the star destroyer of Hask and after putting the bomb on the iperguide generator Iden finally killed the ex-Inferno agent. Iden, that was hit in the fight with Hask died; but Zey and Shriv survived and brought the information about the First Order to the Resistance.

The Inferno member Iden and Hask were both trained by Gleb while Del started his career as a normal trooper during the battle of Scarif.

All the Inferno squads often used the TL-50 heavy repeater blaster, with two different ways of shooting.
