Body Paragraph:  Grandmaster Satele Shan was born in 3699 BBY on the planet Brentaal IV. Her mother was Jedi Knight Tasiele Shan who was the descendant of Jedi Revan and Bastila Shan.

History/Background Body Paragraph: When Satele Shan was inducted into The Jedi Order, she became padawan of the Jedi Master Ngani Zho. In 3681 BBY Satele was tasked with observing the Republic Station on Korriban which the Sith Empire attacked, but she escaped to warn The Republic of their return. In 3667 BBY she traveled to Alderaan and while she was searching the ruins, The Sith Empire invaded the planet. This is where Satele Shan faced Darth Malgus, the Sith who killed her Master on Korriban. It was a tough battle but Satele Force-pushed Darth Malgus into a cliff and afterwards crumbled it down on top of him. Over the course of the wars Satele Shan fought in dozens of conflicts and would become a renowned Jedi of the Order. Satele Shan would embark on an odyssey inspired by the call of the Force, which led her to the long lost homeworld Tython. For her rediscovery of the planet she would receive the title Grandmaster of The Jedi Order
