General Information Body Paragraph:

Dashades are a sentient species from the planet Urkupp. In 3,996 BBY, during the Great Sith War, the planet of Urkupp was destroyed by a Sith known as Cron Drift. The Dashades have evaded extinction, this species are rarely spotted throughout the galaxy due to their few numbers, and primarily are located throughout the Sith Empire. The Dashade’s typically serve as assassins for  Sith Lords and Darths due to their partial Force immunity and aggressive disposition, however some are utilized as combat teachers for the Jedi.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Only some Dashade survived the destruction of Urkupp. Thirty-eight of the planet's best combatants were among the limited survivors; they were known as Dashade Shadow Killers. Later, they were put into cryogenic stasis with the intention of only reviving them when their extraordinary powers would have been required. One well known example of this is a Dashade who served the Dark Lord of the Sith Tulak Hord known only as Khem Val. Who was awoken out of stasis by a young Sith Apprentice, as they traveled across the galaxy inflicting horrors upon the inhabitants of many worlds.

Khem Val traveled the Galaxy with the Sith Inquisitor known as Darth Nox for a time during the Cold War, eating, devouring and attacking enemies of the Empire for sometime, including the events of the Eternal Empire, and the events aftward. Khem Val was eventually put into Carobine and preserved until the time was right for him to act in the Empires Interests again.
