The 21st Nova Corps, otherwise known as the Galactic Marines,  was a military branch harbored by the Grand Army of the Republic during the era of the Clone Wars. The 21st Nova Corps was led by Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi and Clone Marshal Commander CC-1138 ‘Bacara’. The 21st Nova Corps was an elite division of the Grand Army of the Republic that dealt with endless conflict, relentless battles, and high-danger specialty operations. During the Fourth Battle of Mygeeto in 19 BBY, the 21st Nova Corps was under the command of General Ki-Adi-Mundi and Commander Bacara as they attempted to finally overthrow the Confederacy of Independent Systems from the planet. During the battle, Order 66 was enacted, and Commander Bacara and his squadron eliminated Ki-Adi-Mundi, despite an initial hesitation. The 21st Nova Corps would then go on to serve the Galactic Empire.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

The 21st Nova Corps was created shortly after the first batch of clones were trained on Kamino, somewhere between 28 and 22 BBY. The 21st Nova Corps had specialized armor compared to other clone units, featuring a helmet/mask hybrid that allowed the clones to operate in harsh conditions, especially in situations where the air was unbreathable or toxic. The rest of the armor plating included maroon shoulder and arm coating, along with a maroon kama. The 21st Nova Corps was made up of thirty-six thousand, eight hundred, and sixty-four troopers divided between sixteen regiments.
