The Tusken Raiders, also known as Sand People, are a culture of beings related to the humans on Tatooine. They are primarily aggressive towards the native population and isolate themselves in the dune seas. Tusken raiders communicate using the Tusken sign language. Their average height is 1.9 meters and their average weight is 89 kilograms.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

In 32 BBY, a few Tusken Raiders were staying on Canyon Dune Turn. As the first round of a pod race began, they started shooting at the podracers, which included the future Jedi Anakin Skywalker. In the second round, they successfully shot down one of the podracers, Teemto Pagalies. 10 years later, the Tusken raiders kidnapped Anakin Skywalker's mother, Shmi Skywalker Lars. His mother had been tortured during this time, and as her son, Anakin had witnessed Shmi being tortured; Anakin set out to rescue his mother at a Tusken Raider camp. Shmi had died from her severe injuries, prompting Anakin to kill all the Tusken Raiders in the camp in his rage. 

After the camp was massacred, the Sand People began to fear Anakin, believing him to be a demon.

The Tusken children are actually called Uli-ah. 

Because of Anakin's slaughter, they have begun to perform rituals to scare him away.
