History/Background Body Paragraph: In blatant violation of Republic regulations, the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Count Dooku's developing Separatist movement, started secretly producing an army of battle droids during the Separatist Crisis in the droid factories of the planet Geonosis. The Intergalactic Banking Clan, the Techno Union, the Trade Federation, and the Corporate Alliance all backed the Separatist cause.
