While the creation date of the Infinite Empire is unknown, it has been recorded for lasting over 10,000 years until their dismantle in 25,200 BBY. The creators of the Empire were the Rakata, a race of cannabalistic creatures that rejected the concept of balance within the Force. However, the Rakata lacked technology that would allow them to expand. That was until 36,453 BBY, when a species known as the Kwa travelled to Lehon, the home planet of the Rakata. Unbeknownst about their divulgence in the dark side of the Force and their cannabalistic tendencies, the Kwa taught them about the Force and even gave them advanced technologies. Fueled by conquest, the Rakata expanded their civilization to the Unknown Regions of the galaxy. They would target planets that were considered a Force Nexus, enslaving Force-sensitive beings and using their connection to the Force as a fuel source for their warships to better the expansion of their newly founded Empire.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

By 30,000 BBY, the Infinite Empire had expanded to over 500 planets, even murdering or enslaving the Kwa, who originally visited the Rakata to guide their civilization through the Force. The Infinite Empire continued their expansion for thousands of years until they discovered the Sith on the planet of Korriban. The leader of the Sith, King Adas, had realized their intention of conquest and decided to fight them off with his battle-axe, eventually ridding them off Korriban but dying in the process.

While the Infinite Empire was successful in developing a fuel source from the Force, it eventually led to their dismay. The usage of the dark side eventually corrupted its users, making their warships immobile. In 25,200 BBY, a plague had infected the vast majority of the Rakata, which killed most of their species and leaving the cured Rakatans disconnected from the Force. With revolutions arising, and their species nearly extinct, the Infinite Empire soon dissolved.
