Darth Malgus was an extremely powerful human male Sith Lord, who fought during the times of the Great Galactic War and the Third Galactic War. Malgus wore a respiratory mask, much like Darth Vader, after he was injured severely by future Jedi Grand Master Satele Shan in a battle. Malgus was responsible for the defeat of the Galactic Republic in many wars.

History/Background Body Paragraph

Darth Malgus was born under the name of Veradun to his adoptive father. During his childhood, he killed a Twi’lek servant in his father’s estate, which showed his connection with the Dark Side of the Force. He was sent to be trained at the Sith Academy on Dromund Kaas. Veradun fell in love with a Twi’lek slave called Eleena Daru, who later became his partner and they fought side by side. Veradun later took on the moniker of Darth Malgus and became a successful commander in the Imperial Military.

During his lifetime, Darth Malgus was responsible for defeating and killing several Jedi. An assault led by Malgus against the Jedi Temple on Coruscant completely devastated the Jedi, and half of the Jedi High Council was killed during the siege. During the peace negotiations at Alderaan between the Sith and the Republic, to end the Galactic War, Malgus laid siege against Coruscant once again and this time, his target was a Jedi named Aryn Leneer. Aryn was defeated by Malgus. After the siege, Malgus became disillusioned with the Empire and he started to view his lover Daru as his weakness. Displaying true evil, he killed Daru. Later in his life, Malgus would go on to establish a new Empire, but would soon be defeated and captured by the Republic and the Sith Empire.
