General Body Paragraph: Luke Skywalker was a Force-sensitive human male who grew up as a moisture farmer with his Uncle Ben and Aunt Beru on Tatooine. In 0 BBY, after the tragic death of his uncle and aunt, he followed the teachings of Ben Kenobi–otherwise known as the famed Clone Wars general, Obi Wan Kenobi, who survived the Great Jedi Purge. After rescuing Princess Leia from the first Death Star, he joined the Rebel Alliance in search for the greater good and destroy the Empire. After the death of Obi Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker continued his path to find Grand Master Yoda of the former Jedi Order on Dagobah. He learned to use the Force, learnt patience and focus, though shortly after his training had begun, he saw a vision of his friends in trouble and made a quick hurry off Dagobah to save his friends. After rescuing his friends, Luke found himself in an encounter with Darth Vader, the Dark Lord of the Sith. After finding out that Darth Vader was his father, he makes a daring escape to reunite with his friends. Luke Skywalker finds himself on Tatooine again, to save his friend and smuggler Han Solo from Jabba’s Palace. After escaping, he reunites himself with his dying master, Yoda, on Dagobah. In the events, the Rebel Alliance finds out the plans of the second Death Star. During a raid on Endor’s Moon, Luke gets captured intentionally and travels to the second Death Star to face his father. After defeating his father, he is struck with lightning by Emperor Palpatine, and is no match for his power. As Luke is being tortured, Anakin Skywalker saves his son and gives him his final breaths. Many years later, he continues to teach the future generation of the Jedi, until the rise of the First Order in 29 ABY.

History/Background Paragraph: Luke Skywalker is the son of the famous Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker. During the Clone Wars, Padme Amidala became pregnant with Luke and Leia. Keeping the baby’s secret, Luke was sent to Anakin’s step-family, Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru–while Leia was sent to Alderaan with Senator Bail Organa and Breha Organa.
