General Information Body Paragraph:

The Galactic Marines, otherwise known as the 21st Nova Corps of the 4th Sector Army stationed in the outer rim, was a specialized unit of the Grand Army of the Republic. They were commanded during the Clone Wars by Clone Commander Bacara and Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi. Additionally, they were used as a quick reaction force.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

In a mission on Mygeeto, Commander Bacara personally received Order 66 from Chancellor Palpatine, which demanded all Jedi to be immediately exterminated and marked them as enemies of the Republic. Known for his coldness and calculating logic, Bacara did not carry out Order 66 immediately, but waited for the vulnerable position of Ki-Ad-Mundi. On a thin narrow bridge, Ki-Ad-Mundi and his Marines finally opened fire. He was Able to deflect the blaster shots but died from the fire from both sides.
